Be honest: when you pour liquid detergent, are you actually measuring it against the little lines on the cap, or just eyeballing a "probably enough" splash?
Most people guess. And most people guess high — using more detergent than a load actually needs, load after load, without ever realizing it.
Why overdosing happens
Liquid detergent measuring is genuinely hard to get right. The cap is small, the liquid is opaque, you're usually holding a laundry basket under one arm, and the "fill lines" etched into plastic are nearly impossible to read at a glance. So most of us just pour until it "looks right."
The result: excess detergent that doesn't rinse out fully, can leave residue on fabric, and — over months and years — adds up to buying more than you needed.
Why a sheet solves this
A laundry sheet removes the guesswork completely. One sheet is pre-measured to a standard load. There's no cap to read, no liquid to eyeball, no risk of pouring too much "just in case."
For smaller loads, a sheet can simply be torn in half — giving you a lighter dose without needing a completely different product or a measuring cup.
A simple system
Our sheets are designed around this idea:
- Small load — tear a sheet in half
- Medium load — use one full sheet
- Heavily soiled / large load — one full sheet is still the standard dose; let the wash cycle and water temperature do the rest of the work
That's the whole system. No lines to squint at, no second-guessing.
Less guessing, less waste
When dosing is simple, people naturally use less — not because they're trying to be frugal, but because the guesswork that leads to overpouring is gone. Multiply that across every wash, every household, every week, and it adds up to a meaningful reduction in unnecessary product use.
Cleaner days ahead start with something as small as knowing exactly how much you're using — and trusting that it's exactly enough.
